The Oxfordshire Branch of the BCS is very pleased announce that our Christmas speaker will be Professor Fred Piper of Royal Holloway, University of London. Fred gave the BCS Turing lecture in 2004, he is recognized worldwide as an authority on the subject of Cryptography and IT Security and is a popular author on the subject. His most recent book joint authored with Sean Murphy entitled “Cryptography – A Very Short Introduction”, is a popular seller on Amazon.
