Tim Lambertstock, Payments Consultant
Thursday 20th January 2011 – 7:30pm
Venue: Oxford e-Research Centre, 6 Keble Road, Oxford, OX1 3QG
Tim brings his extensive experience of payment systems to this discussion on how we will pay for things in the future as cheques, and maybe even hard cash, begin to be phased out. He will consider online and mobile payments as well as developments in the use of credit, debit and stored-value card products.
About Tim
Following a long and successful career in government IT, Tim joined VocaLink (then BACS) in 1999 to lead the vision and strategy for future UK electronic payment systems, a programme that won many awards. He went on to develop a new payment and related products and to consult on technical, legislative and market developments in payments around the world.
The event is free and both members and non-members are very welcome. Reservations are not required.
Sandwiches and light refreshments will be served from 7:00pm. The lecture starts at 7:30pm.
