JET – The world’s largest nuclear fusion research facility.

Guided tour of JET organised by the CCFE Public Relations Team including a visit to the JET Torus Hall and the Remote Handling control room (both subject to the operational conditions at the time).

Followed by a presentation of the Control and Data acquisition computer systems by Dr Jonathan Farthing, Assistant Director and Head of CODAS & IT.

    IMPORTANT NOTE

Identification will be needed at the CCFE reception by all registrants (photo ID such as driving licence). It is very important that non-UK citizens register well in advance as security clearance may take up to 4 weeks for citizens of a small number of countries. Please indicate nationality in the Comment section of registration form. If you are booking for more than one person, please also give their name and nationality in the Comment section.

Location and directions

Culham Centre for Fusion Energy is based at Culham Science Centre in Oxfordshire, about 50 miles west of London. The site is on the A415, approximately nine miles south of Oxford and four miles east of Abingdon.
