Web 2 Woe: Cybercrime on Social Networks

Social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter and MySpace are increasingly the target for financially-motivated hackers, as more cybercriminals put the hundreds of millions of captive users in their sights. Their intention? To infect computers, spread spam, seize profiles and commit identity theft. This talk covers how attacks have continued to evolve, how social networking sites are trying to defend against exploitation, and what companies and individuals can do to better defend themselves.

The event is free and both members and non-members are very welcome. Reservations are not required.

Wine, sandwiches and light refreshments are served from 7:00pm and the meeting starts at 7:30pm.
