Tony Hart, Head of Smart Oxford
It’s not enough to have the technology. You have to ask how it will make a difference to people’s lives.
The Smart Oxford programme is the joint Oxford City/Oxfordshire County project looking at ways to use technology (from smartphone apps to autonomous vehicles) to improve the lives of citizens and communities in the Oxford city region. This talk will look at the vision and the work so far to allow Oxfordshire to capitalise on the digital revolution.
Bio:
Tony Hart took on the role of Head of Smart Oxford in July 2018, having worked over the past 35+ years in and with a number of technology companies from multinationals (Intel, Cisco etc) to local start-ups (Digital Oxford, Packetvision, Culloma).
